Languages Course Development
UTTA (Jane Lane) has been involved in many language course development projects over the years, producing self-penned ESOL and ESL courses for British Aerospace, the Sudanese and Algerian Governments, Selhurst Post -16 Centre, the Gulf English School in Kuwait, Small Heath School in Croydon and Concord College in Shrewsbury before becoming involved in creating the course which won the coveted British Council Accreditation for ECTARC in 2014.
Foreign Language Courses
French language courses have been less formally created, but she has a steady track record of creating French study materials, and of course the highly successful Arabic course designed and redesigned for use by teachers in Kuwait, engineers in Saudi Arabia and finally the sixth form in Llanfyllin High School which sets the tone for her teaching style. Such courses have re-applied ESOL teaching methodology in a way which makes them more advanced and fun to use than many standard modern languages courses.
Languages course development projects by UTTA contain the spark and flair of her work in spoken Arabic and communicative Arabic
, which are designed to bring reality and stimulus to the classroom, and make the learning process more a matter of fact than academic effort.
