UTTA references a very well developed course in ERP (English for Residential Purposes)

This course is intended for those adapting to life in Britain for work or social purposes and has strong cultural assimilation techniques. Students are graded using the CEFR scale.

ALL TWO WEEK COURSES INCLUDE ONE of the following:

A visit to a professional recording studio to write a song or record some speaking.

Or just singing and recording your favourite English song.

Scripting and making a mini video with a video production team.

Or scripting and performing a mini play for video.

A trip and to a Victorian Workhouse and mini-tour, with an English picnic.

These trips are in the company of your English Teacher and other native speaker techies and crew and form a part of the course. A minimum of four persons per activity except where courses are less than four.

Also includes one walking shopping trip or and one walking tourist activity in the Town Centre with English Language objectives.

Help with planning your own activities. (Based on age and/or parental wishes, students are encouraged to undertake these independently or in pairs to maximise English Language exposure).
