UK Visas and exams accepted for immigration purposes
There is much contradictory information about this, particularly as things change faster than online websites, however a December 2015 update on the UK Visas and Immigration section of the Government website says that the required level of English is only provided with the following examinations: Trinity Integrated Skills in English, Graded Examinations in Spoken English, IELTS LIfe Skills and IELTS appear to be the only four ESOL  exams ccepted for immigration purposes in the UK.
Requirements at this time (Jan 2016) are that applicant should have attained a B1 level in a Higher Education Institution or a B2 level if outside, and that the testing centres have to be secure centres only. The link in the header here should clarify this.
